Canceled: Watercolor Wednesdays
Watercolor is one of the most popular painting mediums, yet many artists consider it to be one of the more challenging painting techniques to master. Due to its delicacy, watercolor can be hard to control. Artists must find a balance using skillful techniques and allowing the paint to flow naturally and subtly. Joanne Murray will guide students through the entire process in this Watercolor Wednesdays series. Participants will learn elements of design as well as various watercolor techniques including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, splattering, dry brush, and more. This class is for all skill levels.
Supplies you will need to bring to class:
- Watercolor paints: blue, red, yellow, burnt ember, burnt sienna, and white
- Watercolor brushes: fan, mop, round, liner
- Palate (or paper plate)
- 9” x 12” watercolor pad (140 lb. cold press)
- Heavy jar for water
The cost is $20 for one class or $50 for all three classes. If you are paying for an individual class, please do so at the information desk.
