Cupcake Decorating (dozen)

Let’s think spring! Learn how to make flowers bloom in this hands-on cupcake decorating class led by Abby Schmitz. Abby is a self-taught baker who runs a home bakery, Cabin Cakes (@CabinCakes on Instagram), based out of Wooster and specializes in gluten-free baking. This class is all about piping, a skill that will take your creations to the next level. Abby will show you how to create two different flower techniques. When registering, participants will choose between a kit containing six cupcakes for $30 or a dozen for $55. Each kit will contain your cupcakes and icing, as well as your icing bags and tips that will be used to decorate. Kits will be available for pick-up from Heartland Point on March 30 & 31. You’ll then log into the class from home to decorate your cupcakes as Abby provides expert tips and answers your questions along the way. Registration closes on Friday, March 26.

CLASS DETAILS:

  • This registration includes a dozen (12) cupcakes. Please register for the other March 31 listing if you would like a half dozen (6) cupcakes in your kit.

  • This is a virtual class; participants will log in from home using a laptop to follow along with Abby.

  • Participants must pick up their supply kit from Heartland Point March 30 or 31; scheduled pick-up times are suggested.

  • A 72-hour cancelation policy applies to this class. Your payment is nonrefundable if you cancel after 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 28

  • Registration and payment are due by Friday, March 26.
