There's plenty for kids to do at Heartland Point while school is out. Pick as many sessions as you'd like. In between sessions, there will be activities for kids to keep them busy during those 30 minutes.

Science- Science is all around us, Dr. Tim Vierheller, professor of physics at The University of Akron Wayne College, demonstrates just how important science is to the many fun things that happen throughout our day. This program is for kids grades K-3 and includes hands-on demonstrations covering topics such as angular momentum - from dumb bells to bicycles; static electricity- a shocking but safe experience; sound waves- understanding pitch, a hearing test, and the Doppler Effect; and polarization of light- how your calculator and cell phone display work.
