Macramé Wall Hanging
Macramé is a type of textile created using knotting techniques. The style was very popular in the 1970s and is now making a resurgence in the design world. Annamarie, owner of Miss Wanderer (@misswanderer_shop on Instagram), will guide participants step-by-step in creating a lovely macramé wall hanging that will add a stylish touch to any room. Participants will learn several types of knots including larks head, spiral, square, and gather. Each participant will leave with a finished wall hanging measuring roughly 8.5 inches wide and the know-how to create more pieces on their own. All materials are provided in the class cost, which is $40. Participants must register and pay by Tuesday, Sept. 15.
**In-person classes will take place behind The Jerome M Smucker House located at 708 N Main Street. Parking is available in the Smucker campus parking lot.
