Get into the Halloween spirit by making a masquerade doll with Janice Gallagher. Participants will use permanent alcohol ink markers to create tie-dye designs on a cotton cloth doll. Batik scraps, found objects, yarn, and ribbon will be available for costumes. Costumes can be sewn on or applied using hot glue. Janice is a mixed media artist who has lived in Wooster for the past 45 years. Her work has won awards throughout Ohio and neighboring states. The dolls provided in this class are handmade by Janice herself. Supplies included in class cost; must be 12 years or older, unless accompanied by an adult.
