This prenatal yoga series offers expecting mothers a time to move and breath in a safe way at any stage of pregnancy. Classes will incorporate yoga postures for mobility and strength, breathing techniques, focus and body awareness to connect with yourself and your baby. These gentle yoga practices will help expecting mothers ease common aches and pains along with varicose veins, leg cramps, sciatica, swelling, fatigue, stress and anxiety.
Please bring an open mind and heart to prepare for your bundle of joy. You can wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in. Please bring a yoga mat and any yoga props that you may have. There will be plenty of blocks and blankets to borrow and a few mats if you need one.
This series will be taught by Jenny Cocklin (500 RYT). Jenny has been teaching yoga since 2013 and maintains a consistent personal practice especially though her current pregnancy. Jenny completed her 200 hour yoga certification program with GoYoga in Columbus Ohio and her 300 hour yoga certification program through Transcending Yoga School.
The 5-week Prenatal Series will be Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 6pm starting August 8th through September 5th. Sign up for all 5 classes for $55 or drop in to any of the classes for $12 each.
