Rose Drawing
According to whataportrait.com, not only is drawing a relaxing activity, it has been shown to improve memory, fine motor coordination, and problem-solving abilities. The process of shading is what takes drawings to the next level, making a flat image become three-dimensional. In this class, participants will be given an outline of a rose and they will be tasked with making it “bloom” off the page. Julie Fisher is a retired art teacher and will provide step-by-step guidance. Participants will leave with a solid understanding of how to add contrast, depth, and dimension to any drawing. This class is designed for all skill levels; must be 12 years or older to attend (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian). All supplies are included in the class cost.
