Teaching preschoolers about money is an educational curriculum designed to teach children ages 3-5 the beginning concepts of money. It explores such questions as “What is money?” and “What do we do with it?” Parents will be offered additional opportunities to extend learning in the home by reinforcing concepts with additional activities and by reading recommended books to their children. Behavior experts from the University of Cambridge concluded that money habits - including the ability to plan ahead and to delay gratification - are typically formed early in childhood. The goal is to have financial habits of spending, saving and sharing formed before age 7. Join us and learn how to help your child get a “Smart Start” in life lessons.
