Orrville Walks
Orrville Walks kicks off April 6! This community initiative was started by Aultman Orrville’s Growing Healthy Habits, Heartland Point and Orrville Safety Council to encourage community members to walk throughout the town and to support local businesses.
This will be the third year for Orrville Walks and it keeps getting better. Check in at Heartland Point, 200 N. Main Street, every Thursday; walk around town (maps will provided or walk any route of your choosing); and you will be entered into the weekly raffle. Businesses and organizations around town have donated prizes to provide additional motivation to keep you walking each week. The more weeks you walk and check in, the more times you will be entered into the grand prize drawing for $250.
This year, we have added an official Orrville Walks 5K on Saturday, Sept. 30. This is a fun 5K run/walk for the entire family. Participate in Orrville Walks on Thursdays and you’ll be motivated and ready for the September 5K! There is no fee to walk and check in on Thursdays, but there is a fee for the 5K to cover timing and set up expenses.
Register for your Orrville Walks and the 5K on Thursdays at the Heartland Point information desk. Don’t forget your four-legged friends; they can win prizes for walking, too!
